Something to help with live events

Fairly new to covering live events and being around the public with my gear. After 5 days of being around drunks and un-managed youth running around, I came up with the following device.

(Don't give me a hard time on the diagram, I was in a hurry)

1) Great for someone doing gigs alone and not having anyone to direct people away from your gear. Your tripod and gear go inside the video barrier, it is open behind you.
2) works with PVC pipes and simple "T" connectors, the whole thing folds up and is light weight (a little over 4.5 feet long x 3 feet high. Holds down with sand bags, also can get small flags from Home Depot that make burried cables to place around it. Make it as long, or wide as you need.

I will post some more photos and details when I complete mine. I am painting it "Neon Orange" and on the cross bars putting my company name on each side with my contact number (why not?).

Chairs do not work, people seem to want to get close to the guy with the camera trying to do a job. I know darn well if I just showed up to one of these events without any gear, no one would even glance twice at me. Use it to help make sure people see you and your gear as they stumble around.
