Something intruding in LEX frame

When I set my HVX's zoom to eliminate vignetting on my Letus Extreme I'm finding what appears perhaps to be a black wire that is along the right side of the frame. It is the determining factor in my final vignette-free zoom point, which was about 74 (IIRC) on my HVX200 and about 78-79 on my new 200a. If it weren't there I'd probably be able to zoom back out to 75 or so. I wonder if I'm needlessly sacrificing some of my FOV because of it.

Is that normal? Does anyone else see this same thing in their LEX? Can it be fixed?

Thanks...

I guess no one else has seen this. Interesting. Maybe something is amiss in mine. I'll post a screen grab as soon as I get a chance to illustrate the issue.

Post a still. I had a similar issue a while back. It looked like a loose wire or something in the prism and it turned out to be a crack in the prism optics. I had to send it back to Letus for replacement.

As soon as I get out from under being massively overbooked (my bread and butter music recording stuff) I'll put up a grab. Maybe mine's gonna need a trip home to daddy too. Thanks for the feedback.
