So guys, I am somewhat new to filmmaking but I have a decent idea of what I'm doing. I'm talking to my schools video technology teacher about getting waived into the advanced class, because my friend who is a huge part of the program believe I know enough to pass entry level class.
I'll be answering questions, showing her I know what I'm doing.
I just need someone to tell me if I'm missing some of the fundamentals
I know about framing shots (close up, wide shot, etc.)
Headroom and speaking room
Rule of thirds
I know how to set my DSLR for shots
I know about basic lighting (key, fill and back light)
I know all of the positions in a film crew (grip is to lighting, director, dp, etc. to cinematography, gaffer to electric and all of those sorts of things)
Just anything else I should cover before tomorrow?
Thank you all so much for your help
And I'll go ahead and apologize ahead of time for sounding like the complete moron I feel I'm being right now
