A lot of people post here regarding what components to build their PCs out of. Well, tech report has just released an astonishingly in-depth benchmark comparison between nearly all modern processors, and even some processors from years past, to compare upgrade paths and performance gains.

I find it sad that my Q6600 is so low on these scores as of now, though bottom line at about page 17 is that a Core i5 750 is the best bang for the buck right now.
The extreme geeks here will just love the numbers.
