some p2 files glitch when played from the timeline

this glitch doesnt happen when the clip is played in the source monitior but only when its played on the timeline. anyone know why this is happening?

Do your sequence settings match your clip settings precisely? Do you have Mercury Engine Playback (Hardware) enabled? If so, what happens if you switch it off?

yes my sequence matches my clip settings. i dragged a clip to the create new sequence icon.
i believe so, computer specs are 2009 2x2.26 GHz Quad Core MacPro | 16GB Ram | NVIDIA Quadro 4800

i had to finish the project in fcp7 because of time constraints so i went back to the PPro project today and the problem seems to be gone. i am starting a new project very soon and ill try cutting it in PPro again. i hope for better results this time.

well i am still having this issue with my 2009 8 core mac pro and 2011 macbook pro I7
i am using different footage not the one i used in the original post.

same problem with my 2011 2.3 ghz macbook pro & it has a and graphic card.

Seems to be happening only on Macs.
