Some older HBS stabilizer rigs

For those that know me will know my passion for the all mighty Steadicam systems and other high-end brand. Since laying eyes on the steadicam system back in 85' and then again in 97', it as all been up hill from then on. Mikko can testify that I'm a person who likes a challenge and who tries to see the capability in everything that I find possible from a mechanical point of view. :)

So for those beginners or those wanting to give HB a try here are some inspirations with what can achieve with some enthusiasm. Now, mind you, the pics at the link below were done during a period of about 6 years from 97 to 2003. The building process was crude but the learning process were educational. I have since gone over to proper CNC machining using Inventor CAD program for structural drawing of my soon-to-be complete rig system which has been on going for over 3.5 years now. The parts are slowly coming together now and hopefully I will have a fully operational system by the beginning of next summer.

As many of the HBS members on this board have said, 'Don't get into HB if you're not prepare to dig into your pockets and lay down many hours at your computer CAD interface to get your dream system. The point is simple. Dedication, time and resources. If you don't have them- you can just forget about building. :)

Anyhow, here is the link: http://hbsboard.com/index.php/topic,2436.msg22294.html#msg22294

The pics are just of the sleds and vests. The Unfortunately I can't seem to find pics of the arms.

Just a note Charles, a membership on your site is required to view the pics.

Now where are those arm pics?

That's strange. I had removed that option today. I'll check. Sorry. I just posted the images here instead.
