The only reason why I'm going to go see this is because its shot on HD. I want to see how new cinealta 950 handles on the bigscreen. I can't comment till I see it. I never had expectations to begin with.


by the way, I know Lucas's grandma and sister. Don't mean **** though.. :)

All you BaHumbug folks will be there with me and my two boys... if not the first week... sometime this summer.

13 to 40. It's been my life. The good AND the bad. My 7th grade english teacher came into class one day saying she saw it... before it really came into it's own and I think everyone of use went that next weekend with our parents. Still remember that day. Also remember sitting through all those disaster movies that plagued teanage movie going at the time!

It was A New Hope for us young movie fans.

I'll be there for sure... hopes or no... and you will too. Don't deny the power of the force.

Im diggin it; but Im serious.

The first 2 were (are) a huge part of my life. I was 7 when SW came out and it blew me away. Jedi was still fun but the EWOKS for a 13 year old are kind of, well, childish. As I have mentioned before; by the time I was 13, I was into films like The Road Warrior and The Thing.

The new ones are just bad. Young Anakin flying a space ship and doing battle, the Pod Races were bad. Teenage Anakin whining the whole movie. The whole thing is CGI hell and the characters have zero substance. I dont know, maybe its the lack of Han Solo thing.

I really do not like the new ones. Serious. If the kids love it (as mine does) then thats great. They also like Shrek and Toy Story however.

Ill see it for closure.

LOL -- You know I know you're right. I'm still hanging on for what it always "Should" have been.

Fisher King it isn't -- Passion Story it isn't -- King Aurthor it isn't. James Joyce it isn't... TS Eliot -- IT ISN'T. I'm not one who reads my life through StarWars, but I can tell you every theater I saw each episode for the first time.

I must say I did like the pod racing... especially the DVD version.

I was WAY into Road Warrior -- especially the girl with the headband in the second one. The Thing just freaked me out!! And here we are today, haveing John C movies being remade. Where did the time go?

I took one look at the trailer for Episode 1 and that's when I knew I'd never watch another George Lucas movie.

Not seeing this film would be like running a marathon and just passing on the last couple hundred yards. There has been some great moments, some rather sad ones. But the journey has to come to an end. It held so many of our imaginations for so long. I will see it, I will more than likely see it the first week. But all I am hoping for is a few wicked saber fights, and answers to some questions I have held most of my life (that sounds deep, but really I just want to know what happened to Yoda)
By the way, you folks notice that Lucas just could not resist putting Hayden Christensen at the end of Return of the Jedi in the DVD set! The man meddle way too much.

Didn't Yoda escape to Dagobah to hide from the Sith during the purge and Obi Wan to Tatooine. I assume that is what you mean. Also, from what I've read so far this one is almost all saber/space fights so it seems you'll get what you want this time round'

These films are more like a horse race; a thourougbred. GReat outof the gate and not much for stamina.
