Finally got around to making use of my new GTX 460. Got CS5 installed and sure enough I can play up to 3 streams (from the same RAID 0) with no problems.
System is X4 3.0ghz 8gb GTX460-1gb , two raids of 7200rpm drives.
Some new things in CS5 .. like weird keyboard shortcuts for FCP.. I tend to use those ones, they work best for me.. and now, I have to map everything like I had in CS4.
Worst of all.. and I checked the prefs, didn't see this setting.. when I go to render ALL effects, it only renders up to the first RED clip.. then stops. This is pretty stupid. Plus my 1080i footage and sequence match, yet I have yellow render lines to deal with.
The MPE is nice, but so far I'm not so enthused about this new Premiere.
