Lights - 1 Lowel Omnilight w/screen & 1 xtra bulb; 2 Lowel Totalights w/screens & 1 xtra bulb; 3 Lowel tripods; 1 silver umbrella; 1 gel holder; 3 power cords; a strap, a pack of gels & the Lowel case.

for $200, thats not bad, or is it ? I know lowel isnt the pro's 1st choice but for now, I think thats an ok kit. Maybe add in a few things and I'm good to start off with.

what do the pros here think..?

its not a bad start i would jump on it in a second if it was $100 even at $150 its a good deal but $200 isnt bad just try and get it down to $150 and then its all good

If all that is in good to mint condition, hell even if it is a little banged up, as long as it works that's a great deal. $200 is nothing for lighting compared to what you'll spend buying new.

Lowell may not be the best of the best, but it can get the job done. I have some Lowell lights and I wish I coulda gotten all that for that cheap. Jeez.

and by the way, lowels are perfectly fine lights... thier whole shtick is being small. and small they are.

My friend, Matt, carries a 10-15 light kit around with him, in a suitcase.... the man is a walking grip truck.

i mean the biggest light is a 1k, but still, having 5 prolights, 5 nook lights, 2 omni's. and a rifa, plus barndoors, diffusion, dimmers and stands.... is pretty sweet to have for almost any shoot, thats on naked lens HVX, DVX, Ex1 and 5D/7D. it wont stand a chance in the adapter world, but thats not what its ment for.

he does corporate video, interviews, and table top minatures and the like... more than enough power...

hey appreciate the input fellas.. I'm checking them out today and will go ahead & buy em.. what else should I get? I've been reading the boards and I here people recommend getting some fresnels because they can be used in so many ways.. I have been looking at ebay also and seeing some pretty good deals .. any recommendations?
