Amazing ass effects...i wanna create something as cool as those...which program would u suggest to making those kinds of things? After Effects? Combustion? and any type of CG program??

I'd have to say that is some pretty bad ass editing. And, I have no idea what he used. I do have a question, though...

What is that blasted music from??? I hear it on movie trailers all the time and I've always wanted to know what it's from!!!!

According to the 'credits' on the second vid it was done with 3DS Max, Corel Photo Paint, and AE.

That was some amazing stuff. Some of the best FX I've seen. Wonder what it's like to be great at something and to know you're great at it.

I can juggle.

But not great. :(

The music off the first clip is Nara by E.S. Posthumus
It's also the opening theme song for the tv show Cold Case.

On the Cechowski reel, it said:

"Hardware used: Athlon 2200 XP"

I'm running a pimped out 2200 myself and it's slow as molasses for just plain DV video editing. I couldn't imagine doing any type of 3D compositing on this junkbox. That dude not only has talent, he's ballz to the wall tenacious. Hope he gets hired somewhere good.

Between this guy and the dude that made Stadium, I'm wondering what they are feeding those kids up in Poland.

LMAO!!!!

2070 is pretty amateurish actually, just alot of built in filters and presets. Kinda typical I suppose.

Chechowski's 3D work is much better than his motion graphics design (which is so so). Check out Belief.. those boys know how to play: www.belief.com

Sorry to be the neighsayer... just calling it like it is.

deeeeeeeeee those guys from belief are maddddd gooooooood

My goal in life now is to be able to edit like all those guys and create those stunning videos. Anyone got an idea of where to start off? Learning CGI perhaps? or After Effects?

Hey the first one just seems too much - it almost seemed like they just ripped a bunch of premade stuff or just followed a bunch of tutorials without deviating from them at all - looked really ... whats the word I'm looking for here... NOOB!

What was it even for? All i noticed was what looked like a bunch of presets in some program with footage from Halo, and then a poorly lit clock that looked like it was shot on a low end consumer cam?

The second one on the other hand had some really nice compositing and decent modelling and texturing in terms of animation. I wouldn't call either of them A-List pro - I'm sure the second guy gets work though..

EDIT: Ah KAI called it - i was thinking I was wierd for calling one of em shitty

Yeah, you better belief it! Yes, those mofo are pretty amazing! There are I think two other studios that stands out from the rest. Can't remember their site but these guys are a bunch of kids who's beyond creative. I'm jelious of those young bastids. Mad respect!
