Again. we need a lot more information, to be of any real help.

What camera? do you have lights? sets? what looks are you trying to emulate?

besides what has been recommended about charged batteries and plenty of memory cards more details will be needed to help.

good luck

I'm using a canon rebel t2i. I want to give more details to the girlsl beauty and am using. Two 800w lights and no complicated set. Maybe just a single chair against a white background or black and I want to frame my shots from up to just the knees throughout. And ilm planning on leaving out the red colour in some parts during editing.. Is this enough info to get me Sam wild ideas from you pros?

I would add another light for highlights, a good tripod.

probably use soft boxes for the lights.

and would work with fast primes on the lenses nothing slower than 2.8f like the 50mm, 28mm and 18mm. the rest is up to your creativity.

are you recording any audio? if so use a separate recorder dont even try to use the audio in the T2i.

my 2 cents.

hope it helps, good luck.

That's great advise. Tanx a lot. I won't record any sound.the only sound around would be used as karaoke but just to sync the audio and vid during editind. I already have the. 50mm prime lens and ok I'd add 1 more light.. Tank you so much

If the studio is small, it might be a good idea to have a wide-angle lens as well.

It doesn't matter how many lights you have if you don't know how to use them properly.

Why do people wait until 2 days before a shoot to start asking for help?

See if your school has a basic glidecam you can use to add motion to your shots, but don't over-do it. Dropping the red colour entirely (matting it out) will be difficult... if you want to use chroma-keying, find a green screen so you don't lose the skin tones as well. If you just want to desaturate your reds (make them greyed-out) or change them to a different colour, that should be easier.

Also, I'd record basic sound, just so you have it as a guidetrack. Assuming you've got your talent dancing, it might be helpful to know what part of the song they were dancing to when you sit down to edit.
