solution for mobile DV Rack shooting

Just found this bag, complete with light shields for the LCD and risers to help ventilate the laptop. Looks really good to me. There's one other brand that's $20 cheaper, but it isn't as well made.

With an extended battery and self-powered drive (or using the laptop's drive) I think you'd be all set.

I can't tell if its built for 15" or 17" screens?

The interior is 17.5" wide, and diagonal screen measurement is always bigger than width, so a 17 should fit fine. I think you can partition it anyway, so a 15 plus extra stuff would fit.

If you want to compare other option, look up the Tekstyl Tekmod. They sell it at eBags.com. Pretty colors, anyway.
