solar charging?

Anyone have any experience and recommendations with solar charging for DVX batteries? I'm going on two expeditions, one short one to the Olympic Peninsula and a longer trip to Ecuador, and want to make sure I have enough juice. It would also be great if I could charge my iPod, too.

yeah this is of some interest to me as well. Not for the moment but I was looking for this product in Central america, good luck finding it in NIcaragua! haha, but I think this item is in the 1000 price range no?
