OK....So I've got three hundred photographs scanned loaded onto my hard drive and I want to produce a series of video clips, sliding and zooming these babies with transitions in between each image. In the end I want a dv quality video clip of still images in motion. I have trditionally used 3d studio max to get the job done but it is a long tiring process. Is there any other software or method I can use to shave some time off this mamoth project? I am PC based...Any Ideas?

Thanks...Mino

Mino - Don't you use PremierePro? Presets are great for this type of repetative effect. Just create and save 4 or 5 different moves then automate all your images to the time line and go through and apply presets to the images.

Wow...Premiere has a Pro Version! LOL

Nah, I'm way back In 6.0 land But thanks for the workaround:beer:

Thanks Jim, I'll look into the Imaginate program, just hope it doesn't cost more than I'm goona make on this deal:cheesy:

I know you're on pc, but if you have access to iphoto on a mac, you can do it automatically. Just drag them in and hit "make slideshow". It adds the Ken Burns moving effect, then you can save it as a quicktime.

The effect you're after is called the "Ken Burns" effect... made famous by the documentary filmmaker. I'm sure there's some pc wares that will do the same thing out there.

Thanks Jim:thumbsup:

Kai...No Macs in my neighborhood, but thanks for the Ken Burns reference...At least I know who I'm emulating now:grin:

Cool....Just tried the Imaginate demo and like "Dire Straits" say

...That ain workin, that's the way you do it!"

Thanks Jim:thumbsup:

Well it set me back a few beans but will shave 75% off my rendering time plus give me way more intuative options for motion. This software rocks!!!

Thanks Jim....Great Idea:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
