Hi, sorry this is a bit OT but the Software section seems a bit dead, plus you are my target audience because: DISCLAIMER: I'm asking because I'm writing a web/mobile app to help me with my videography business and would like to broaden it's appeal and scope. If it goes well I will offer it as a paid service. If this is against the rules then moderators please accept my apologies and remove the thread!
My aim is to make an app that covers the most useful parts of running a videography business, while also helping with a lot of the creative process that is specific to making a great story and video.
I'm wondering what software/apps you guys regularly use to track your pre-production, production, post-production and business, basically everything that isn't editing software, though by all means chuck that in too if you want to share!.
For example: ShootQ, Celtix, FinalDraft, EverNote, Studio Cloud, Light BLue, shot lister apps, storyboard apps, release signing apps, plain old Microsoft Word/Excel or Google Docs, CRM (BaseCamp, Zendesk, Outlook), Accounting (Xero, FreshBooks), file storage (Dropbox, Google Drive), etc etc...
