Software for screen grabs

What software are people using for their Screen Grabs ?

I am "trying" to learn Vegas, and I have been able to use it's Screen Grab Function. However, the "grabs" are very small compared to the footage that I shot and they just don't really look as good as the original footage.

Was wondering if there was an independant program that I could use to extract a quality pic from my "Avi's"? ???

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Software for screen grabs

If you select 'Best(Full)' mode on your Vegas Video Preview, it will save a frame grab in full size and resolution.

If I can post what I put up here, no one should be too timid to show their work. :) Some people raise the bar (you know who you are) and I am here to even out the playing field. ;D

Hehehe ;D
You "haven't" seen my snaps yet. I can barely white balance and when I do, alot of the stuff I shot looks flat and or washed out. Probably shot about 20 - 30 mins of footage and only about 1 or 2 minutes is really worth keeping i bet.

But i'll post something by this weekend. Only real thing holding me back is getting a few more shots so that I can atleast have a minute long film that looks somewhat cohesive.
