The 66 is a mile long. Are there any issues with the Rycote Softies getting into the field of view? Do I need to purchase the short haired model? (boy, that statement could be contrued in a different way!)
I bought one for my Me66 and it did wind up in a couple of my shots when I had it camera mounted. Also, the softie was pretty much worthless to me. I live in Chicago, and even on the not-so-windy shoot days I had way too much wind noise coming through. IMO if you're using anything less than a blimp system to block out wind noise, you're just throwing money away.
