Softboxes To Match Tungsten Fresnel Lights...

You can use those in combination with those lights, just keep color temperature in mind. The cool lights are 3200k so are the soft boxes so you should be able to use them together with no problem.

How badly do you need to have two soft boxes like that? If you are looking for another way to do it, for around the same price look into getting a Lowel Tota with a soft box as it can do so much more than those two lights, as they are pretty much just soft boxes.

Soft Box: Well you can pretty much get any soft box you want as long as it's rated for hot lights.

What do you think of the Cool Lights, I'm thinking of buying a couple of 650w ones.

I've bought two lights: CL-TF0650 650w Compact Tungsten Fresnel and DTW300 300w Compact Tungsten Fresnel

Now I need to buy a couple of soft boxes that I can use in combination with those lights.

I've found this offer from amvona: http://www.amvona.com/?page=shop/flypage&view=1&product_id=2129

Can I use these in combination with the lights that I have.
Do you have any other better recommendation for the same price?

Thanks

Hi,

Its not that simple with any fresnel including ours. You need a special speedring interface to the accessory slide on the front of the fresnel. Chimera makes one and so does Wescott. We'll be making one in the fall, but that won't help you now unless you can wait. Then after you have the speedring, you just need a softbox to work with it. These kind of speedrings are normally pretty expensive. The Cool Lights one will be in the $29 range and around $49 with a softbox.

This is an idea of what you're looking for:

Then you need the softbox of whatever size you want to go with it.

Richard, I bought those fresnel from you (Cool Lights)--- I'm not going to use it with a softbox. What I mean is that I want to buy a complete softbox light that contains its own light, stand etc.

Yes I know you got them from us. Sorry, I misunderstood that you meant you wanted a softbox that fitted over the fresnel front. So the Amvona one would be fine then for what you wanted.
