Softbox for Molerichardson babysolar spot 1k

Can I put an Impact softbox on my babysolar spot 1k Fresnel light? I haven't shot anything in a few years and I need a cheapish solution for soft light with my 1ks. I bought three of these lights used for a great deal, trying to make the best with them without spending to much more. This softbox I think would be perfect but I am confused as to weather it was made to fit these light fixtures. Thank you so much for your advice.

You should check with the manufacturer of the softbox to see if it was intented for 'continuous' lights, or 'flash', and further what wattage/heat levels if it was designed for continuous lights.

You can of course make a frame, stretch diffusion material across it, and soften the light. Alternatively make a bounce with more opaque material...
