Softbox for Biax Flo Lights?

I like the 4 and 6 lamp (x 55w) biax flo units (Diva and various knockoffs), but I find them less soft than I'd like due to their relatively small size - 16"x23" for a 6 light fixture. What I'd really like to do is put them into a 36"x48" soft box with 1/4 or 1/2 grid cloth to soften them (with the silver insides intensifying them and the frame to support a 3" cloth eggcrate for spill control).

But all the softboxes I see are made to be connected to speed rings that are too small. Do you know of any softbox that would work? I'm not really interested in the various DIY solutions out there to accomplish the same thing - they're all too heavy, fragile and non transportable. A real softbox seems the best solution.

Thanks.

If you are using Biax knock offs with barn doors just attach your choice of diffusion to the barn doors.

I have fashioned my own grids for spill control which I mount my choice of minus green gel to the back with snot tape and then mount the grid to the light with Velcro. I often find that once the grid is mounted the light output is at the needed level without adding diffusion.

All the Best!
