soft for tagging and archiving video files

I'm trying to find a software for tagging clips (video) in to categories.
Like what www.acdsee.com does for pictures (like jpeg ect), but I need it for video files (like QT's Avis etc).

I don't mean a metadata manager (like for P2) files, but a software that will give me the power to add tags to a pool of video files, so I can "retrieve" and "filter" them according to my needs (like : fast action, or, slow mo, or, nature, or urban, or or etc)

any ideas?

no suggestions for a software that does for video what iTunes and iPhoto do for music and photos, respectively. That provides a central library for storing video clips, letting you name and tag them, play them back etc ?
