Soft case for fresnels?

I cobbled together a used fresnel set from eBay recently. An Arri 650, Arri 300 and MR 250. I don't particularly care for the Arri hardshell case because of it's size. I don't like to fly w/lights so I don't need a hard case and I'm trying to keep expenses for this kit to a minimum. My question is: does anyone know of or use a soft case on wheels that would fit those lights and a few stands?

Milk crates are great but can't be wheeled and make for many trips back and forth from location. My shoots are small 1-2 man crew jobs and loading in and out need to be as efficient as possible. Plus, I drive a Saab so space is precious. My budget for this is ideally $125 or less.

Thanks!

I suggest milk crates, I've been down that road that you're on and came back to milk crates, the small ones, 12 x 12 I think, I have about 7 of those for all my hot lights, including my 1k

Hmmm. Even when I specifically mention that I'm looking for something other than milk crates, I get recommended milk crates!!! :)

I appreciate the feedback but are there no affordable soft cases on wheels for fresnel lighting?! Like I said, milk crates are great. But with a small crew, they require extra trips, they take up a lot of space and you have to use two hands to carry them. They don't roll and they don't hold stands as well.

Why is everyone so high on these milk crates???

There are plenty of soft cases out there. Think Petrol, Kata, or Portabrace amongst to best. Oh you said affordable, scratch that. I nice 3 light luggage case is going to set you back around $400. Not saying there isn't merit there, I have a Petrol case I pickup on close out, and it is great. But given the price, I can see why folks like milk cartons, they just aren't very classy. One of the better bargains would be this. You might also look at Case Logic.

Grant,

Right. I'm starting to see why milk crates are the go-to. I don't really want to spend $250 on a soft case. I might just suck it up and go the milk crates route.
