I drink the Sobe “Adrenaline” (8 0z) and “No Fear” drinks (16 oz). A lot of my friends have replaced their morning coffee with the Adrenalines.
It may be purely psychological but the Adrenalines are great for hang-overs also. They used to have 250% (RDA) B12 but they switched to 250% B6 and 100% B12.
They’re hard to find in some places so we actually have our stores that stock them noted for runners and we’re snobs about other “energy” drinks (hate them).
EDIT: The best thing that’s ever happened to Red Bull is Jagermeister…
The “Jager-Bomb”…
(1) 4 oz of Red Bull in larger-than-a-shot glass.
(2) 1 standard shot of Jagermeister.
(3) Drop Jagermeister shot into Red Bull glass (don’t allow to mix if possible)
(Try not to exceed more than 4, causes public nudity ;D )
I'd consider myself a beer snob, but it's really hard to deny the genius of a red-bull inspired caffinated drink with a 6.0% alcohol content. Oh, and it doesn't taste bad either!
..whats really sad is that ive had it many times before.. its just that months later i see it and say.. hmmm. i always have the exact same kind when i have this stuff, maybe ill try this red one.. then comes the proverbial "DOH!"
-barnes ..im not a big malt drinker partaker. we have a bottle of wine with our meals often enough, but one beer and im on a bad buzz. ..(right now people are thinking of ways to make fun of me...lol) i dont know what it is about malt drinks... one little beer..and i wouldnt want to drive. i dont get it. ..maybe im just not used to it.. maybe i buy bad beer.. i drink the leftovers from my wifes beer bread. the leftoim not a very little guy. id post my dimesions here, but its not like anyone cares. just spare me the "you cant handle your liqour" speeches guys .. im not one who thinks that drinking mass quantities of alchohol is at all cool or a requirment to have fun to begin with. anyway : ..anyone else have a similar syndrome?
Back in the day we were on the road a lot whenever we'd stop for fuel etc we'd try different sodas/juices and 90% of the time we were disappointed. We never learned though. I think we were trying to break the monotony of 24 hour road trips. At the end of these trips we’d have a dozen or so half empty plastic containers of “Bart’s Feel Good Fruit” or whatever.
J_Barnes, definitely going to give the Sparks a shot, thanks for the heads up.
We work in biker bars quite a bit and they have some “underground” energy drinks which have names that are pretty offensive. The idea is that it makes you ask the bartender for some pretty rank descriptions of the female anatomy. Sort of like some of the names of mixed drinks but it’s actually canned/bottled/labeled.

On the contrary, what and how much you can drink is meaningless. Didn't Rudolph Valentino die after trying to "out drink" a sailor? That's ignorant and obviously dangerous. My group of friends has guys/gals that don't drink at all or very little and we still spend entire evenings hanging out (like "the sun is coming up" sort of evenings)

Actually, I've got the opposite problem from you. I'm relatively thin yet I've got a pretty high alcohol tolerance, making me an expensive drunk most of the time.
The thing about drinking is that it's a pretty conventional talent. There's always someone who can drink you under the table and there's always someone you can drink under the table...all it means is a headache in the end.
My main alcohol diet consists of inexpensive small-vineyard italian wines and the random american microbrew beer.

..hey wait a minute, i said i'm not little. not that im fat. lol ive only got 3% body fat last time i checked. not that i really care what everyone pictures me as, but i dont want anyone thinking im michael moores stunt double. :
iamloser-you asked if anyone else had a similar syndrome...If you meant not able to drink very much, count me in. I drank half a bottle of IceHouse beer and I couldnt feel my forehead. But I am also hypersensitive to just about any and all medications, too. So, I dont drink much. I never even went into a bar until about a year ago. heh! I dont know why, really. Just not my thing I guess.
