So... what you all working on at the moment?

Finished up a possible villain-fest script last night so frantically trying to get that into gear. storyboards a little later in the day I think. It's too hot and muggy here to even think about going outside.

Also kinda considering entering but my motivation button seems to be faulty.

This very moment? Editing some sleazy TV car commercials for an ad agency.

They wrote them, shot them and acted in them, but they need someone to put them together.

WTF, did they pass the camera back and forth between takes? They are pretty funny, though.

Released this on DVD last August so I'm continuing marketing strictly online in places like this.

Now preparing to bring this to fruition sometime next year while doing all my other in-between stuff mostly listed here.

Preproduction for a shoot with aircraft next week out on the tarmac.
Preproduction and camera tests for a short I shoot in two weeks.
Preproduction for a commercial I shoot in three weeks.
Preproduction for another short film that we shoot in 4 weeks.

And a photo shoot tomorrow.

@shy - sorry to hear that, hope things work out for you.

I"m sick at the moment. Waiting to get well to work on short for a buddy. Otherwise, nothing, been resting for last two days. Gah, hate this.

on the business side, we're putting a slate together with two crime thrillers, a psychological thriller, a revenge thriller, two sci-fi actioners, and a clever little horror picture. packaging them up, building the proposals and looking forward to attaching cast, getting projections on foreign sales and presenting the opportunities to high net worth individuals. we're more or less done with microbudgets here. well, maybe one more.

creatively, I'm just writing, writing, writing. night and day.

Must have caught a chill sending those naked pictures out over the web!

We're working on a film fest called "Show Us Your Shorts," what a time to be promoting a festival with name like that..... We're also finishing up a concert vid for a client, and of course still chugging along on the Dreamer project. We are soooo far behind schedule on that :-(

yay!

Off to do some tests on the musical :)

Af100 on steadycam
F3 on Jibb
Both on AJA Ki's

Really hoping the tests work out so I don't need big asses RED or ARRi's for this one!

Come on M4/3! bring out more toys!

Size does count!
The smaller, the better!

@Zak
Loving your discipline dude!
Write write write!
Most people talk a big game but when opportunity strikes they just aint prepared!

Just did a shoot for a 1500 person spring fling on liberty island. the fun part? thunderstorm :)

that's when the 5d goes back in the bag and the gopro comes out to play!

then there's planning a festival, more summer shoots, a roadtrip, contemplating the meaning of (my)life, etc...

and most important of all: sitting in front of the A/C eating chilled watermelon. VERY key!

Doing the maddening wait as my latest script makes the rounds, trying to stay preoccupied. The pace at which the development side of the industry moves can be excruciating.

Did an really scary location scout today on dirt roads through some rocky hills in a rented Toyota sedan. Three hours of feeling like I was in a coke can with wheels!

Really beautiful scenery though. Methinks I'm gonna have to suck up to the producers to get a chopper for this one!

I hope these guys find the money, will be a great Art Flick if they do!

Heading out in 20 min to provide weapons for a trailer about the African Conflicts.
