An electric train set!!! & I am a grandfather! the sort of thing I should be giving to my grandson, but my wife detected I had never had a train set & bought me one. I will get the DVX on to it when I get it set up properly. Hope everyone had a good one.

Yep got my DVX, early too. Rush got it to me Friday, so I tried it out Saturday after work.

But my actor was not on time so lighting is bad and he could not hit his mark.
Then he start barking at me about this and that ... well ... you guys know all about, right.

Congratulations! Are you really a grandfather? Cool, now I want to see what you're working on, what you've done, age does affect the way we approach film. Do you have any clips that you've posted? (I'll do a quick search to see). Nope couldn't find any. How old are you?

I got the PC game "The Movies" and a plane flight for my vacation to Virginia this Spring! Also got some clothes and gift cards/cash.

By the way: Be careful, the game is addicting... now, I'm afraid I'll be making movies on the computer, and not actually going out and doing the real thing!

My dad busts in my room at 8 in the morning (after I'd been up all night watching Close Encounters and The Great Escape) and yells "I'VE GOT SOME EGGNOG FOR YA!"

I actually got some really good presents this year: Maya 7, Avid Xpress DV Pro, some money to buy a new couch (sweet) and some DVD's (Tape, The Millenium Edition of Night of the Living Dead, Man with the Movie Camera and the Hudsucker Proxy.)

My parents are upstairs right now, cooking Cheesy Eggs, which are really omlettes in disguise. I love visiting home for the holidays.

I got a shot-glass tic-tac-toe set... and a 10 pound bag of bite sized Chick-o-sticks. No lie.

Check this out... my nephew shares time between his mom and dad. Things have been really tight for my brother this year (new business, etc) and so they just got him a few small items. This kid is already TOTALLY spoiled... I mean TOTALLY. He is a great kid though... I mean a GREAT kid... you can't not love him.

Well his mother lives in a really small house in a so-so part of town even though my brother lives in a pretty darn good house in a good part of town. 2 weeks ago my nephew's mom bought him an XBox 360 and that was supposed to be his Christmas present... Pretty great xmas gift huh? At the time I thought "holy sh*t that's pretty cool considering her level of income and where she lives"...

Get this... yesterday... she gave him a 2006 Chevy full-sized truck... brand freakin' new! He is 16 years old... I freakin' crapped my pants. I was WAY more stunned then he was... I've been speechless up until now... I still can't believe it. I don't even know what to think. This kid is doomed to a life of disappointment after high-school! But man it sure is cool now I guess. Wow.

Got my camera about a month and a half back, then I got money and best buy gift certificates. Oh, and my grandparents give us a trip to Mexico every year :thumbsup:
