So the flick's made, what next?

Hi
I've got a feature that I've sent off to a few fests, but was wondering what others have done to help their film out. Did they start website or blog, track down a publicist or sales agent or entertainment lawyer, go looking for a distributor?
Any tips, suggestions, advice, websites to check would be appreciated.

Our standard procedure is to build a website and start a blog, along with Twitter and Facebook, before production even starts. After post is completed, we start submitting to festivals along with distributors of similar product. In our experience, building a buzz via social media can often result in sales agents and distributors contacting you rather than vice versa.
