Usually I hate it when a movie (I'm waiting for) release gets delayed for some reason. Doesn't happen often, but sometimes it can take a movie up to several months to come out here after its initial US release. Not the big releases, no - those come out on the same day most of the time - but the independent stuff, the controversial and Academy Awards oriented films.
There are a few titles I've been waiting for since fall that just wouldn't get released untill now. Weird, because some of 'em are actually big names Hollywood flicks and sucks, because everyone here got to see them long before me
But now (probably in light of the upcoming Oscars) they made their way here. Here's what I managed to see in the past week alone thanks to the delays:
Jarhead
Munich
Lord of War
Constant Gardener
Going to see Syriana and Walk The Line sometime this week. There, feel free to envy
Also, Good Night & Good Luck, Brokeback Mountain and Capote are coming out in the next 2 weeks. One hell of a movie-going month
