Snowstorm Nemo

Just finished digging out... but it wasn't as bad as expected. We got about a foot is all....but then there was the wind & drifting!

Since when are we "naming" SNOWSTORMS?

Is the media really that desperate to create a headline?

Jeez.

It's only The "Weather" Channel naming storms, unilaterally, and apparently after some lonely woman's 20+ cats. I think this happened around the same time the same channel decided that instead of telling us the weather, they'd run reality TV.

Have fun making some bitchin' snow forts up there.

Northern mid Lake Ontario, Canada. Not bad. About a foot. I heard Boston got it pretty good.

I'm in the middle of moving and the storm hit, back alley just got plowed. Next time when I'm warned of a storm before a move I will listen. Though I did manage to get some funny footage of people dealing with the storm on Thursday, so it kind of worked out.

Luckily this time we didn't need the army to dig us out!

It's hard to tell; six inches in some areas, a couple of feet where the drifts piled up. I guess we had just a little less than two (2) feet.

I shoveled every time there was three inches or so - every two hours from when I last finished shoveling, or thereabout. I shoveled six times.
