unless they've switched, they use a variety of 2/3" Panasonic cameras. They're deep into a P2 workflow.

The videos are funny, but they are departing from the creative and simply going to shock value paired with absurd randomness. I miss the old SNL where the skits had some brain power. I think it all left when Tine Fey went to 30 rock....

(when I mention the old SNL i mean before Tina Fey.... she was stuck in a dying show.)

We used a Varicam with a Pro35 on JIMP, but it was to tape, not P2. I'm assuming they used a similar setup on IOAB. Both those videos were shot differently than most of the SNL Digital Shorts since they're produced by the Lonely Island boys, not SNL itself.

Love the Lonely Island skits, haven't watched any of their videos in a year or so. This one reminded me of "Boats 'n Hoes" from Step Brothers.
