Smooth Shooter Questions!

Ok guys, I am wanting to purchase a Glidecam Smooth Shooter!
Where is the best place to buy it from?

Any current users of the Smooth Shooter please tell me how you like it, want you don't like etc. I have a HVX200 and I will be adding a mattebox to it soon.
Can I use a focus/zoom lanc controller with the Smooth Shooter?

I have a shoot that may require long periods of glidecam work so I am wanting to get this by the end of the week.

Make sure to get the Glidecam 4000 with the smooth shooter. I tried to use my 2000 with a similar setup to when I used the smooth shooter with the dvx, and it was unbalanceable...
 
Yes, I already have a Glidecam 4000 Pro! I love it!

I have mastered the 4000 and the 2000 over the last 3 years. Time to give my back and arm a much needed rest!
 
I have found that the 4000 with smooth shooter works much better with an HVX than with a DVX because of the extra mass of the HVX.
 
Yes, anyone out there please respond. I'm considering purchasing a smooth shooter as well. I use the Glidecam 4000 pro and love it but its too damn heavy. I heard about folks modifying the smooth shooter or even adding an extra spring for extreme smoothness. Can't remember exactly where. It might have been over at homebuiltstabilizers forum. Any additional info will be greatly appreciated.

and just to add to that smooth shooter and 4000 pro and HVX works nice. I put 2 vid lights on there and all i had to do to balance it was adjust only 1 spring. I recently just got a P2 card so im gonna try some nice follow shots in all its HD glory. i posted a while back some DV footage of the smooth shooter. if u want i can put it back up. just say word.
