smooth pan & dolly pull

I just recently got a Kessler K Pod Dolly setup that I put a Satchler DV4 II head on. I'm trying to learn how to do a nice smooth move. I'm pulling the tripod with a rubberband and panning with a rubber band too. I don't have experience with any other heads, so I don't know if it's the head or the user creating the jerkiness in the move. Any tips greatly appreciated & here's a sample;

I'm hoping to use this to film our show host with a telelprompter on the camera (EX1)

Thank you!

Didn't work for me. I tried Safari, Opera, Firefox and Explorer. Nothing. Everyone else's posted stuff works perfect.

0-10 seconds seems the worse to me - I'm contemplating having someone else pull the dolly while I run the camera.

Seems like that's how it should be done anyways. If you can concentrate only on the framing while someone else concentrates only on moving the dolly steadily, you should wind up with smoother results.
