While Roger Ebert is recovering from cancer surgery, they are using guest reviewers. Tonight, Kevin Smith. Hmmmm. Interesting.

A quote when Smith is referring to Step Up, "I'm gonna catch all manner of crap for liking this."
 
Roeper is holding the Godfather boxed set and says that The Godfather is his favorite movie.

Roeper: This is the Bible.
Smith: So you're saying Godfather 3 is the rapture?

it doesnt show till midnight here... definitely going to watch it though. should be interesting. didnt like leno as guest critic last week
 
Nah, but he was kind of funny in his "clean" Kevin Smith kind of way. I liked listening to him review other people's movies. Bleeped once, but no big deal.
 
i liked the "dance nazi" comment. really enjoying this episode... maybe if Ebert can't do reviews anymore Smith should do it permantly.
 
Kevin Smith? That is an interesting choice. Kevin James would have been a more appropriate choice, IMO. Or atleast more interesting.
 
are they going to be a doing a rotation of presenters till ebert is fully fit again? or is he already back?
 
Roeper said that they followed up Leno with Smith cos they were going for a "Jay & Silent Bob" motif. ;-) hehe

"Jay" Leno and Kevin "I played silent Bob in all my movies" Smith = Jay & Silent Bob motif and.... wait... were you guys joking??? :furious3:
