HDSLR: SMALLRIG Cage of GH6 is the same for GH7?

Hi,
I use GH6 but I'd like to replace it with GH7 becauuse its different AUTOFOCUS.
I use SMALLRIG Cage fro GH6, can you tell me if I can use the same SMALLRIG Cage for GH7, even if with some modifications?

This is a rare case of two back-to-back generations being exactly the same size so they should, but it's best to email SmallRig and see what they say.

Companies almost always make new cages for new models because there is something just slightly a little off, but maybe that won't be the case here.

[IDK, but one on their site is only for the GH6 while another variation is listed for both, 6 and 7.]
 
I believe they're the same size, but your camera should be free don't put it in a cage for Pete's sake!
 
I use the GH6 with Smallrig cage and I'm happy.
I have to tell you that I go on adventure trips and travel alone. Two years ago I had the GH5 and I slipped on a rock. The GH5 broke into 10 pieces, including the lens. Then I bought the GH6. Last year I slipped again on a rock and luckily I had the cage, otherwise I would have been forced to spend more money uselessly.The smallrig suffered a little damage but not the GH6. Why are you telling me that the Smallrig is useless?

I got a Niceyrig cage (from Amazon) for my GH6. It was on sale for US$37, but it now costs US$47. According to the listing on Amazon, it fits both the GH6 and the GH7:
