Hi, I try the same tread in the HVX200 forum with no success so i will try it here...

We are a lot here owning a SmallHD DP6, and not the first having problem with the warm color, even if the monitor is on for a while...

So I realized that, no matter what, i am unable to correct this ``just a little bit too much``yellow warm tint...to get my greens, green.

Is there somebody, who find the right settings to get rid of that ?

Already did that four months ago when i purchased the monitor...didn't really got an answer....they just told me that these monitor are warmer...i need a good color redition when i shoot...i work on a Reno show so i need to see the real color of the paint...i'm always questionning my white balance...Others thing, when i unplug or close the monitor, i need to do the blue gun + color bar each time...!!! this is really anoying.

Small hd has excellent customer service. This is definitely a known issue. I can't for the life of me figure out why they can't remedy this. The same panel is used in other monitors that are reported to have better color reproduction. I have learned to deal with it and only adjust the brightness, contrast, backlight and gamma, and leave the color alone. It is most apparent when first turned on for sure. It's workable, but not perfect. Small hd, if you can fix this, you will be our hero. The monitor on all other fronts is fantastic.

Reed, maybe you can sell some sort of panel that fits behind the snap on protector that corrects the image? Just an idea....

I'm guessing your mean renovation show. You wrote Reno, which is a city in Nevada.
