SmallHD 502 Problem

Anyone else see a thin green flickering line going across the top and left side of their SmallHD 502 monitor? I hope I don't have a defective unit!
 
My upgrade of firmware 1.0 on the 502 went fine but, I do have a thin green line on the left side. Also, the audio meters do not work even though I have audio input through the headphone line on the monitor. I have sent SmallHD a support question outlining these issues but have heard nothing yet.
 
Ouch, it seems like this firmware had a bug or something. But yeah, I'm going to have to call on Monday because these green lines (which occasionally flicker red) are driving me insane haha. I just hope it's not cause any sort of permanent damage

Hopefully their purchase by Vitec hasn't hurt their customer service. It has always been top-notch. I've even exchanged emails at 10:00pm-11:00pm with them.
 
I was told by SmallHD that the green line problem and the audio meters not working with certain cameras, is a documented bug "that is being worked on". No idea how long it will take them to fix this. Also, I really need the cross conversion feature which they also stated " they are working on". For a new monitor it is a bit disappointing.

As far as customer service, no response over a weekend and looks like 8am-5pm hours. They are no longer giving any timeline on the sidewinder completion beyond "this summer".
 
I also have the green line problem. It was initially on the top, but has now moved to the right side after the firmware update. I have called them and they are aware and "working on it." Initially they thought it was the C300, but I can replicate the problem with any camera now. Agreed it's a bummer. Hopefully it can be fixed.
