Smallest HD cam for Letus?

We're going to shoot a small budget indie feature shooting "low profile" through Europe. I want to use the Letus 35mm adapter, but without the bulkiness of the rails etc that my HVX would require. Is there a small HD camcorder that is of high enough picture quality to get me through a feature?

You could consider the Letus Mini and Canon HV30 combo. "High enough picture quality" is quite subjective...

Yep. you can get fantastic images with the HV30/letus combo

I did some tests with the samsung HMX20 which is supposedly of higher bit rate and less compression than the canon hv30 (please correct me if I'm wrong), and it was saddening, but I suppose after getting used the HVX's picture I'm not going to be happy with any small camera am I(?)

I (reluctantly) agree that I have seen some very impressive stuff coming from the HV30 and letus combo.

looks nice. Colors are definitely an improvement to the samsung. I think I'll look at the hv30 for the film...
If you find anything else small that shoots around 50Mbps let me know =)
