Small rig for Sony NEX 6

I have verified, that the holder does work with Sony NEX 5. The distance between the tripod socket and the lens axis are identical. And I assume the same is true for NEX 3.

First batch of 10 pieces is being manufactured right now and should be ready for sale around February 10th. Five will be anodized black, two red and three dark blue. I have also added a few mount holes with 1/4" threads to the holder and improved the rod locks a bit (using two screws now instead of one).

The first batch will go for Euro 80 + shipping, after that the price will be Euro 90. The original calculation was for the first version, where the camera was only held by the lens mount. But in the end we have decided to make the originally optional tripod socket mount a standard part of the setup. The (plastic) Zoom H1 mount for 15 mm rail will cost Euro 15.

Some progress again. We have redesigned the rod clamping part a bit so it is now possible to loosen the rods individually.

The other changes are aimed at making the rig ever more compact. At the top side a small cheese plate (more like a cheese bar) can be mounted in place of the rod holder. Small rods (like the one with audio recorder mount on the picture) can now be screwed directly to the main holder.

Also pictured is the ENG-style handle with REC/STOP button (I have run out of red ones...) and an external battery plate.
