Small-ish multi-use camera advice ?

Hi all,

I have been looking for a small camera to accomplish several things:

-Use atop a tall (10ft) stand for events. Best if it can be remote controlled via lanc and with HDMI out so the operator can monitor and control it from below.
-Needs to be able to record long clips around an hour or more
-Can record 4K without overheating
-Long zoom (16X or more)
-Lighweight/small to easily be transported for cheap 1 man jobs such as interviews. I have a Tascam Dr701D for XLR audio
-built-in ND a big plus

The best option I can find seems to be the Panasonic FZ2500.

Pretty much all the Sony mirrorless are knocked out due to overheating and short record limits.
The Panasonic HC-X1 or UX180 could also with the bill except they cost a lot more and aren't so small and light.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Can the Sony RX10 II or III be controlled by LANC? I know they have a wireless app. With the Play Memories tweak you can record unlimited time lengths with the Sony cameras. My experience with the RX 10 II is that it is very good at managing heat. It will for sure record 1080p60 until the cows come home. I have not tested 4k beyond 20-30 min but I would not be surprised if it did the job. Powering the Sony cameras with a dummy battery and external USB power supply helps their record times.

Thank you Bassman2003.
I believe the RX10 II / III can not be controlled via LANC but by Sony's newer multi interface cable which is said to be delicate.
I like the longer zoom and the fact is uses the same Sony batteries I already have. I've also looked into external power and external recorders to extend recording times.
I would love to be able to use it on a tall stand during weddings and events, but sometimes that can be in hot environments thus my concern for overheating.
I don't want it shutting down and ruining the job.
4K would give me great re-framing in post so I could leave it wide without always having to have a dedicated camera op for it.
