Small HD 702 Bright Monitor and SD Card Issue

Hey everyone,

I've just purchased a SmallHD 702 Bright monitor and I'm very happy with it.

However, it doesn't seem to be seeing any of my SD Cards - I've formatted them all to FAT32 and they've all been under 16GB (I've tried about 5 SD cards at this point). None of them work. It sees when the SD card is inserted, because I can see "SD" under the LUTs page, but it doesn't see anything on the card - same when I tried to upgrade the firmware.

Is there a folder structure that I need to be using so it can see my LUTs?

Hoping someone on here can help out.

Thanks in advance!

I tried multiple folder structures, one sub folder, no sub folder, two sub folders. I have seen some people organize their Luts into all kinds of sub folder organization and it shows up on the monitor.

UPDATE: Another strange thing I didn't mention in my original post: I tried to update the firmware - to potentially kick the issue out - but the monitor won't even see the .bin folder on my SD card for the firmware update from Small HD's site.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I was just looking at the update procedure on small's site and it looks pretty much the same as it does for my older DP Pro 7: 16GB(or smaller card), formatted FAT, .bin folder is at the top of the card(not inside a folder or subfolder)... But I did notice it say to insert the SD card BEFORE turning on the power to the 500 or 700 series monitors. Maybe that could be the hang-up...?
