I have the Kata Shell3 for little field trips. I can put the DVX, 3 batts, power adapter, 9 filter case and a few tapes in it as long as its all arranged correctly. Partitions are moveable too.

i have the porta brace dv organizer but for carry-on for a plane i have the cs-dv4 which was my first bag for my camera.
i also have a storm case with custom foam out done at the storm case center for a hard carryon case.
i love the dv organizer it has lots of extra room like for the matte box on the side next to the camera.
i have yet to find a case that will hold the dvx with the 411-53pk matte box still on!
i was happy to find that my new 410-01 matte box is considerably smaller and fits in pretty much any of the above cases with the matte box still on!

I bought the Panasonic soft bag for mine. It's just big enough for the camera, batteries, AC adaptor, a box of tapes and headphones.
Fits in the airline overhead. I can't imagine why you'd want anything smaller.
