So, I just bought this Variable ND in replacement of the Nisi Variable ND. NiSi was not up to spec with what it said it was, and the colour shift was really bad.
I just got the SLR Magic mkii, I have not done a proper test, but there does not seem to be any, or at least as much colour shift as the NiSi one.
BUT - It states that you can adjust the back ring to adjust the POL effect.
The problem is, this doesnt adjust the POL effect, it just gives everything a warm or cool tint.
I have a POL filter already, and comparing the two, it doesnt change the warmth, but it actually changes the POL effect by darkening the blacks and removing reflections.
Not so much with the SLR Magic VND.
Anyone have this filter and have anything to say about it?
