Slowed down clips

When i slow down a clip the sound repeats, is there a way to slow the sound down with my clip rather than th clip sound restarting.
 
There is, but it requires some thought. How are you slowing the clip down? If you're using the CTRL+Drag method, you can do this with the audio to match. That's the easiest way. If you're looking for a VSO, you'll need to playback in Vegas, slow down using the playback speed tool, draggining it down while recording the Vegas output in another app, like Forge or Windows Media Recorder.
 
Well im slowing it down by changing the playback rate in preferences and it dosent change the playback rate of the music.
 
Try doing itt by Grouping the audio and video you want to slow, and ctrl dragging the edge to the desired length. you may have to experiment a bit to get the right speed.
 
You HAVE to hold CTRL and drag the audio, or group as Patrick mentions, and then drag.
