Slow To Fast To Slow motion

I am trying to go for a certain effect here. I am using fce and would like to have a continuous clip flow from slow motion to normal speed to fast motion and when it goes from one to the other i want it to happen gradual. What would be the best way to do this?

I don't think final cut express can do it this smoothly though. It doesn't have time remapping.
 
Sorry, didn't know you had said FCE.

You can do it old school and just razor blade. I did that for years before TRM was introduced. Will work fine if you get it just right.
