Slow Render Times

Ever since premiere CC i've noticed my render times have taken a hit. I haven't really changed my worklfow so I'm not sure why things are taking much longer.

Another interesting observation I had is that occasionally I will be rendering something and it will give me an estimation of roughly 4 hours and then I will restart the computer and restart the render and it will cut the time in half. This doesn't always happen but occasionally. I have a GTX 460 graphics card and i7 980x CPU. GPU acceleration is turned on and I even downloaded the GPU hack thing in case (although GPU acceleration seems to be enabled without it also.)

Any ideas? Thank you!
 
Could be a RAM leak which is why the restart helps (it clears out the RAM). Also, as long as you have a GPU with at least 1gig of RAM then GPU acceleration will work. There's no longer a list of only certain cards.
 
I'm actually noticing a big render difference between premiere 5.5 and CC 2014. I'm seeing multiple threads on it on the web but haven't been able to track down a solution.
 
The only time Ive had this issue is when I update my GPU graphic card drivers as soon as they were released
