Slow motion

[Amerikan123]

is there any way to change video to slow motion except using the velocity? Is there any smoother or better way?

Right-click on the clip and view the properties. Change the Playback Rate.

cut out the section you want to slow down .. hold down Ctrl key as you hold curser over end of video clip then drag clip longer = the longer you drag it the slower it becomes - do the opposite to make it play back faster ( make clip shorter while holding Ctrl key) ...

also to really see how it will play back the slow mo you must put the Vegas preview to BEST ( makes it resample, while preview & good does NOT make it resample) ...
