Slow Motion

Hi everyone,

New to the forum, so go easy. I have Vegas 8 PRO. I am capturing video. When I play it back, the video is in slow motion and the audio is like in double time. (So the audio finishes before the end of the video. Has anyone ever seen this?

Might want to include the format you are capturing, what type of camera, firewire, etc...

if you're editing HD video, maybe your video card is too slow, this could cause the video to not play, (or play at extremely slow rates) and the audio to continue. I know after i render my uncompressed .avi file in 1980x1080, my computer isn't fast enough to watch this in WMP, and plays it way slow and the audio is just fine.

Thanks for the advice. I started mucking around in the forum and I found this thread:

which isn't exactly what I am experiencing, but I am using the same hardware, so I am going to try to get the ADS Pyro box and see if I get better capture results.
