Slow motion workflow with 7d and Premiere

Hi there,

I've shot some 60p footage with the Canon 7d and I want to edit it in a 24p timeline. I realize I have to first convert the footage into a workable format but Adobe Media Encoder won't let me convert it into 60p. Says the frame rate is too high.

Anyone have a workflow for this?

Have you tried just dropping your footage into a 24p timeline in Premiere? Don't know about the 7D, but I take 720p 60 AVCHD footage from the GH1 and do that all the time. No prior conversion needed.
