Slow Motion For The Everyman

When using compressor, i used a 10 second clip and it did it in about 35seconds. Is this normal?? Should it have taken longer?
 
More likely than not you botched something in the frame controls. Don't ask me what 'cause I'm not sure but even on a high end Mac Pro it shouldn't be that fast.
