Slow Motion Device?

[inspire84]

Hey guys. Im new to the board. So nice to meet everyone.

Random question. Anyone know anything about super slow motion stuff? Like specific digital cameras that can capture super slow mo? Any leads to renting a device like this please let me know.

Thanks

other than the varicam and some other very expensive gear, the new HVX200 can do slo mo, I'm not sure if the XLHD can do it.
i'm sure in a few years all HD/SD prosumer cameras will have slo mo implemented. Technology will get better and cheaper as always. Right now u only have a few choices for variable framerates! good luck and have fun.
Check out some clips in the HVX section for slo mo.

Shooting film, use a photosonics.

If shooting video, try out

If you use the latter, please post a review, I've been wanting to try it out.
