Slow motion and Time remapping

ok basically i'm workin on a music video to be viewed in Youtube HD (24fps i think) and Vimeo (29fps), most of the clips were shot at 720 29fps, and a few 1080p at 60p. Most of the 60p clips are for slow motion but what is the right way of doing slow motion on Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5? i'm currently using time remapping tool on each clip, even on some 29fps clips, now i just seen another way of doing it by going to interpret footage then changing the fps to your final output (which is in my case both 24fps and 29fps) am i missing something here by using the time remap or is basically the same? and do you slow down the slip first before putting it on the sequence? what is the right workflow for this

Interpretation will use only original frames played at a slower speed. Remapping will interpolate new frames as needed, depending on the amount of speed change.

yes but aint it the same if i say interpret a 60p footage to 24p drop it on a 24p timeline then take the same 60p footage drop on a 24p timeline and then slow it down using the time remap til it matches the interpreted footage, aint that basically the same? when playing back why dont i see any difference?

Sorry, I'm not an Adobe programmer. I don't know what happens under the hood (beyond that already listed).

If you don't see any difference, don't worry about it.

I've never seen a difference, and I've always used whatever made sense to me. I usually only use time remapping when I want to do speed ramps...if the whole clip is going to play the same speed it's probably better to do the interpret method, or to right click the clip and go into speed and change it there. Time remapping does wonky things with other keyframes set on your clip.
